Green Huesca
Green areas are perfectly integrated in our urban development. Huesca is well-known for its unique and excellent parks, which offer the visitor the opportunity to enjoy a walk in their landscaped gardens with no need to move far from the centre.
The city has a total area of over 90 hectares of green zones and over 10,000 trees in the streets. There are about 450 'green areas', a large number of green spaces in such a small city, distributed throughout the different districts. This distribution is very good for the environment and also provides our citizens green spaces near every neighbourhood. We have virtually achieved the creation of a green network, made up of gardens and trees, that covers the whole city connecting parks and green areas throughout the city.
